We recently stayed at a charming guest house on a small island reached via a causeway in the nicest part of the area. The hotel's location was truly unique and provided a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms on the first floor were well-maintained and had all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast served was delicious, with a refreshing fruit salad that made a great start to our day.

All was fine, no improvements needed.

The location was excellent, with Bodega Cafe nearby, where we could eat. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was BOUNTIFUL. Amazing base for weekend in Knysna. Free parking was provided to the guests.

Not being in the city center adds to the tranquility and peacefulness of the surroundings. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were well-maintained and the attention to detail was evident throughout. I particularly loved the delicious fruit salad served at breakfast - a refreshing start to the day.

The location of this guest house is ideal for both those wanting a relaxed nature watching break or those seeking more adventurous pursuits out and about. Tim is a genial and knowledgable host who made us feel welcome and at ease from the moment we met him. The room was extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and more than enough to keep us going through the day. Tim was able to provide guidance on the best local restaurants and there was plenty of literature available about local {and more widespread} activities. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Would love to go back. The honesty bar was a brilliant touch.
